- Iridescent jewel-tone colours combine with the pleated texture in the glass to mimic the facets of polished gemstones.
- Mouth blown by skilled glassblowers, making impressions in the glass while it is still molten to create a textured surface. The rim of the vase is cut and polished to achieve a smooth finish.
- Two lustres are separately painted by hand onto the body of each piece, carefully applied with precision to create a dual-tone finish. The object is fired at a high temperature after painting
